Meet the new light festival 'Licht op Drachten'! During this surprising light festival, you can admire beautiful works of light art scattered through the centre of Drachten. A festival for young and old, free to visit from Friday 24 November to Sunday 3 December 2023, daily from 5.00 PM untill 10.00 PM. Drachten will experience the first edition of the new festival Licht op Drachten this year.

To give you extra enjoyment, we offer the Licht op Drachten package. This way, you can fully enjoy the light festival and stay until the end! The package consists of an overnight stay in a hotel room and a three-course choice dinner in our restaurant. In the morning, you can fill your stomach at breakfast. You will also get a portion of bitterballen on the house.
